Such a powerful piece filled with hard truths about what's happening in our country especially now. I'm so sorry about your friend Steve. I didn't know about that drive by shooting and your loss of a friend. So horrible!

I'm glad you shared this piece live at your show last week and here on Substack via YouTube. Everyone needs to hear it. Every single one of us. Thank you for sharing it.

Righteous. I believe that word is apt. I don't completely agree (the hospital part, because of too much time with medical but yes on the insurance). I put up a rant on FB a couple of days back. I'm old (no, late sixties is not the new forties). I looked forward to hitting 65 so I could finally get Medicare, and original/Gap Medicare, not Advantage, a continuation of insurance company monopoly which doesn't save money for the government paying them to administer it but sure puts money in their pocket. It's why, out of 167 nations in 2023, the US ranked 69th in healthcare. Third world nations were ahead of us.

Trickle down economics sounds like a severe urinary tract symptom, not sharing wealth. Stephen Miller is promoting a labor class, who are not eligible for citizenship, which also cancels out the benefits - which undocumented immigrants pay, bolstering Medicare and Social Security though they'll never receive any of that.

I hope your rant, all 12.40 minutes, is heard by many. It's a good use of time.
